Anwendung

Step 1: Clean leather with the preparer

1. The preparer contains alcohol! That's why we recommend that you carry out this process with the window open.

2. Now you can soak the cloth provided in the conditioner. Remember never to put the conditioner directly on the leather! This would cause stains.

3. First, work on the areas of the steering wheel that are dirty. Then you can take care of the rest of the leather. Make sure you use the entire cloth. This will prevent the dirt that has already settled on the cloth from spreading over the surface again. Once you have managed to remove all the dirt and traces of grease, you can wash the cloth and use it again and again.

Step 2: Applying the leather dye

Now the leather dye is applied to the steering wheel using the corresponding sponge. It is suitable for freshening up or recoloring smooth leather.

Step 3: Leather sealing

1. Once the leather dye has completely dried, it's time to seal it. Spray this onto the entire leather.

2. Now grab the second rag. This will help you to spread the sealant evenly over the steering wheel without applying pressure. If the paint comes off easily, don't worry that you've made a mistake. This is completely normal! The sealant is now bonding with the paint to form a durable layer.

Pay attention to temperatures >10 °C and only dye clean and grease-free surfaces. Color faulty areas first, e.g. where deep cracks have been repaired with liquid leather. Apply leather dye to the sponge provided. Color from seam to seam using circular movements. Allow the first layer of color to dry (takes
about 1-2 hours without a hairdryer) and then rework if necessary.
